The RMCM School of Pastoral Studies provides Christian laymen and ministers with a variety of studies to equip the student with vital counseling skills, and prepare them for certification and licensure in Christian counseling.

Our program is not to be confused with state licensure. Most states have regulatory laws governing the practice of psychology. Many also have laws governing the practice of general counseling. These laws vary from state to state. If the graduate desires state certification in order to set up an office independent of the church, he/she must contact the State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors to receive the guidelines for licensure by the State. He/she may be required to take certain courses, and pass a State Board written test and an oral test to be licensed or approved by the state in which you reside.

The RMCM School of Pastoral Studies is offered from a biblical concept with a Christian point of view. RMCM Ministries does not offer anything in secular counseling. We believe and teach that we owe our existence to God who made us. Our basic approach to counseling deals with temperaments and how they affect our lives.
