RMCM Ministries Counseling Center offers two modes of counseling:

  • In Office
  • On-Site - Church (Availability Limited Due To Schedules)

    • Fees/Contributions:

    Initial Visit: $50/Individual, $85/Couple (Assessment Fees). Second session and beyond is open to voluntary giving, donations and giving as the Lord leads. There is implied value in receiving any type of counseling by a trained, skilled, and educated therapist. Our policy is to leave it between the individual and the Lord what will be freely and cheerfully given to our ministry to continue our outreach to be affordable to all.

    We encourage churches who refer members to us for counseling, to consider participating in voluntary donation/giving on behalf of their members/congregants in counseling. This can be by one time gift, or monthly committment. Contact us for more details.

    * Session times range from 45 - 90 minutes.

    * Area Pastor/Church referrals are welcome and will receive priority. Counseling is by appointment only

  • The Arno Profile System (APS) report is a personal identification/inventory and career development assessment tool.
  • Administration of the DISC Personality System Profile used for determining personality styles and helping in interpersonal communication situations and conflicts.

    • Counseling Method:

    We exclusively use a non-secular therapeutic counseling model called Creation Therapy. This therapeutic approach focuses on enabling one to better understand oneself and the responsibility to establish a vertical relationship with God. It is based on Genesis 1:1, " In the beginning God created... " and Psalms 139:13-14, " For you created my inmost being: you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made: your works are wonderful, I know that full well ". We identify the hidden or core problem(s) so we can aid the client in problem resolution.

    Creation Therapy deals with the inner man rather than outer manifestations, and personalities. It is based on the belief that man is a unique being rather than the result of an evolutionary process. This method was developed over a period of seven years of research involving 5,000 individuals seeking help for their problems. Research shows over 90% of counselees who voluntarily seek counseling are helped and healing is promoted. Successful results are achieved when administered by a trained and qualified (A.P.S. Certified) Christian counselor. This center achieves similar results.

    The Process:

  • 1. A successful five step method for counseling those who come for help.

  • 2. What causes relationship conflicts and how to resolve them, and identifies needs of the counselee and helps them to find a balance in order to relieve the inner stress. They develop a willingness to surrender the ungodly ways they have been accustomed to, and replace them with methods in accordance with God's Word.

  • 3. Conflict resolution skills which focus on the word of God and His principles for emotional and spiritual healing.

  • 4. The secrets of human behavior and how God's wonderful plan works when it is understood and applied. Counselee's will learn to find peace within themselves, within their environment, and with the Lord.

    Administering the Arno Profile System (APS) temperament survey which identifies an individual's inborn temperament rather than their behavior. This helps the counselor in identifying the core problems and aids the counselee in problem resolution. This profile used in conjunction with the Word of God has been proven highly successful in healing.

    We know that God is the only solution for all of our problems. Creation Therapy is a viable tool which allows counselors to emphasize the importance of yielding to God's will and to discover His purpose for our existence. It teaches how to draw nearer to God, how to submit to His will and allow the Holy Spirit to become our constant guide and how to listen and recognize God's voice.

    Confidentiality:

    The Center operates totally within the confidentiality of the counselor/counselee relationship as required by law. Counseling ethics and operation are conducted within guidelines of the National Christian Counselor's Association (N.C.C.A.)

    OFFICE COUNSELING
    Office Counseling is openly available to individuals in the central and southern Indiana areas. We work closely with churches and church leadership who refer individuals, couples, and families to us. The goal of counseling is to promote healing, and send them back to their home church, ready to serve the Lord to the fullest.

    ON-SITE COUNSELING
    On-Site counseling is available within 200 miles of our center. This encompasses the entire state of Indiana, and most parts of Illinois, Kentucky, and Ohio. Counseling takes place at your church facility or mutually arranged neutral site. Availability of on-site counseling is usually limited due to time and schedule considerations. There are expenses associated with on-site counseling.
