CHRISTIAN PSYCHOLOGY AND COUNSELING

  • Approximately 45 clock hours
  • Time Limit: 16 Weeks
  • Pass one proctored exam.

    This course is approximately 300 pages in length. The purpose of this course is to introduce the student to the theory and practice of psychology and to provide a biblically based theology for Christian counseling. This course also integrates Temperament Therapy into general counseling techniques/psychology. Through a planned sequence of written instructional materials, the following will be provided for the student:

  • a clear understanding of psychological terminology which will assist in the identification
    and care of an expanded area of human needs.

  • training in the importance of applying the Holy Scriptures in the counseling setting.

  • applicable biblical verses for general areas of need.

    Areas of Concentration: Mental, Personality, and Emotional Disorders; Alcoholism; Marriage Counseling; Family Counseling; Human Sexuality; Maintenance Program; Orthomolecular Therapy; Amino Acid Therapy, Satanic Ritual Abuse (SRA); Bible Therapy;, and the Scriptural 12 Steps.
