TEMPERAMENT CASE STUDIES

  • Approximately 35 clock hours
  • Time Limit: 12 weeks
  • Submit one case study following format.

This course is approximately 154 pages in length. The candidate will learn first-hand the counseling model used by the N.C.C.A members and graduates. These case studies utilize the counseling model taught by the N.C.C.A. and also incorporate other testing instruments.

The purpose of this course is to help the student come to a better understanding of how to counsel using the temperament model developed by Drs. Richard and Phyllis Arno of the National Christian Counselor's Association. Through actual case studies submitted by N.C.C.A.'s licensed counselors you are given in-depth insight into how to effectively use this model as a tool in the counseling office.

Successful completion of this course prepares the degree seeking student to articulate and develop case study requirements for their post graduate degree Thesis/Dissertation work, based upon the practicum requirements completed in Phase I and II, under the guidance and direction of N.C.C.A. Licensed Counselor & Board Certified Clinical Supervisor, Dr. Bob Mangus. This course also develops a discipline for student counselors to take, keep and apply appropriate notes during their counseling sessions.
