Designed to provide the participant with the Biblical, historic and scientific background of the theory of temperament and to provide evidence of the validity of this theory as a guide to understanding human behavior from a Christian perspective. Understand general behavior patterns of each temperament, how it affects every aspect of all our lives, and how to use the information to develop and maintain healthy human relationships. In this facinating presentation, you will learn about accountability for each individual's actions and help to understand who God created him or her to be. How HIS wonderful, for us as individuals, works and how it can cause every person to be happy and fulfilled during this life. Understanding the theory of temperament that will help each individual to understand themself. How it encourages us to be the best that God has created us to be by meeting the needs of our temperament equally and scripturally, surrendering to the Lord Jesus Christ and His plan for our lives, and a willingness to surrender the ungodly ways of meeting our temperament needs and replacing them with methods which are taught in the Holy Scriptures. This is daily surrender.

This seminar/workshop will also present that our temperament is placed within us by God, while in our mother's womb, and that this temperament will remain with us throughout our lives. We are spiritual beings created by God with a precise order and balance of body, soul and spirit. The spirit encompasses our temperament, and our hearts are the binding, blending and balancing agents within our temperament. This overlaps our souls and spirits and provides God's precise order within each of us.

Every individual has temperament needs of varying degrees. These temperament needs are met by drawing from the lower soul (humanistic) or from the higher soul, most commonly referred to as the spirit. Most interpersonal and intrapersonal conflicts are caused by:

  • Individuals attempting to meet their temperament needs in an ungodly way (drawing from the lower soul).
  • Temperament needs being out of balance, i.e., all the individual's energies spent meeting some needs while others are ignored.
  • Reactions to unmet temperament needs.

Creation Therapy is a new therapeutic approach to counseling that deals with the inner man rather than outer manisfestations and problems. This method was developed over a period of seven years of research involving thousands of individuals seeking help for their problems.

We believe that God is the solution for all of our problems. HE completes us. Creation Therapy is a viable tool which allows counselors to emphasize the importance of yielding to God's will and to discover His purpose for our existence. it teaches how to draw nearer to God, how to submit to His will and allow the Holy Spirit to become our constant guide and how to listen and recognize God's voice.
